Biography
Born in July 22, 1964, John Leguizamo is also known by the name Jonathan Alberto "John" Leguizamo. He took birth in Bogotá, Colombia and established himself as a Colombian-American actor, producer, voice artist, and comedian. His parents were Alberto and Luz Leguizamo. When he was just four years old, his family shifted base to United States. For his education, he went to Joseph Pulitzer Middle School and later to Murry Bergtraum High School. For his higher studies, he went to Tisch School of the Arts and also Long Island University C.W. Post Campus.
John started his career as a standup comedian but later moved to the field of acting. He performed in a numerous films. Some of the most prominent ones are What's the Worst That Could Happen?, Miracle at St. Anna, Collateral Damage, Assault on Precinct 13, The Honeymooners, Where God Left His Shoes and Love in the Time of Cholera.
He also appeared in a number of television projects. Some of the noticeable ones were The Brothers Garcia, My Name Is Earl, The Kill Point, Miami Vice and ER.
In the year 2003, he married Justine Maurer. Together, they have two children named Allegra Sky and Ryder Lee.
