Born in January 5, 1980, Oscar Isaac’s full name is Oscar Isaac Hernández. He was born in Guatemala and is an American actor. He is son to Maria Estrada Nicolle and Oscar Gonzalo Hernandez. He grew up in Miami, Florida. In Miami, he worked with the band named The Blinking Underdogs. He was the lead guitarist and also sang vocals. In the year 2005, he graduated from Juilliard School. He was given evangelical upbringing but he later on reflected that it was very Christian.
His first distinguishing role came in The Nativity Story. In the film, he acted with Keisha Castle-Hughes. He also had prominent roles in All About the Benjamins and the Che Guevara biopic Guerrilla.
He has made appearances in a number of movies. Some of the most noticeable are All About the Benjamins, The Nativity Story, The Half Life of Timofey Berezin , The Life Before Her Eyes, Robin Hood, Agora, Che: Part One and Drive.
He has also played memorable roles in television. His performance in Law & Order: Criminal Intent is still vivid in the memory of his fans. In 2009, he was awarded with Australian Film Institute award for Best Supporting Actor for Balibo.
