Abhishek Bachchan, son of the numero uno star of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan descended onto earth on February 5, 1976 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is enjoying the bliss of married life with the former Miss Universe Aishwariya Rai, who is also one of the top actresses of Bollywood.
He ventured into the field of acting with J.P. Dutta’s Refugee (2000), a film that tried to bridge the boundary divide between India and Pakistan by showcasing a love story that extended across the borders. However, success did not come easy to him. After being a part of several average and flop silver screen projects, he tasted success with Dhoom, a film based on a dashing, ultra-smart theif, who became the rare, lovable anti-hero of the masses. His impressive performance in Yuva fetched him several accolades including a Fimlfare award for the Best Supporting Actor. After that he did not look back and went on to add a National award to his kitty for his stellar act in the critically-acclaimed Paa. Some of his other prominent movies are Bunty Aur Babli, Sarkar and Guru.
