Full name of Courtney B. Vance is Courtney Bernard Vance. He took birth in March 12, 1960 in the city of Detroit, Michigan, U.S. For his primary education, he went to Detroit Country Day School. For is higher education, he attended Harvard University. From Yale School of Drama, he attained his Masters degree. While studying, he associated himself with acting.
He made a name for himself on small screen by acting in top notch shows. Some of the most prominent are Law & Order: Criminal Intent, FlashForward, ER and The Closer.
