Ethan, a prominent actor and writer of Hollywood, was born on 6th November, 1970 in Texas. His parents divorced, when he was a kid. He completed his study in 1988 from Hun School. In his early life, he aimed to be a writer but had also had interest in acting. In 1998, he married Uma and has two children from her. He separated from her after six years of their marriage and remarried Ryan.
Hawke began his profession in 1985, with the movie, Explorers and played the role of Ben. After four years, he appeared in the movie, Dead Poets Society, in which his character’s name was Todd. In the same year, he did the role of Billy in the silver screen movie, Dad.
