Gary is a director and actor from London. He was born on March 21st, 1958. He is well known for movies, Sid and Nancy, Air Force One and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. His father was welder and mother was a housewife. He studied from Boy’s School in London. He was very ambitious toward his acting that’s why he moved to New York to pursue a career in acting.
He started his career in 1982 with a movie Remembrance, in which he played the role of Daniel. In 1986, he appeared in Sid and Nancy as the character of Sid and received an award for this character. After a year, he portrayed the character of Joe in the movie, Prick up your Eyes and he was nominated as best actor for this movie. These movies took his career to the peak and he did several movies after that. Criminal Law, Track 29, State of Grace, JFK and True Romance, are some of them. He gave fabulous performance in the movie, Air Force One and honored by an award.
In 2000, he acted as actor and producer in the movie, The Contender and played the character of Sheldon and received an award for this movie. In 2004, he played the role of Sirius Black in movie, Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azbakan. After this movie, he did several characters.
In 2011, he portrayed the character of George Smiley in the Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. He played the role of Floyd Banner in the movie Wettest Country, which was released in 2012.
