Michael Ealy is the professional name of Michael Brown. He was born in August 3, 1973 in the city of Silver Spring, Maryland, U.S. For his education, he went to Springbrook High School and the University of Maryland, College Park.
He took to the field of acting in later 90’s by making appearances in off-Broadway productions. One of his first films was Bad Company and Kissing Jessica Stein. But his stars only shined in the year 2002 when he came out with Barbershop. The film was followed by a sequel titled Barbershop 2: Back in Business.
He appeared in a number of movies as his career progressed. Some of the notable are 2 Fast 2 Furious, Their Eyes Were Watching God, For Colored Girls, Underworld: Awakening, Miracle at St. Anna, The People Speak and Seven Pounds.
His performances on small screen were also lauded for his performances. Some of the prominent ones are The Good Wife, Common Law, FlashForward, Sleeper Cell and Californication.
In the year 2006, he was nominated for Golden Globe Award in the category of Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for his performance in Sleeper Cell: American Terror.
