Born in December 13, 1957, Steve Buscemi’s full name is Steven Vincent "Steve" Buscemi. He took birth in Brooklyn, New York, U.S. and made a name as an American actor, writer and film director. He had two siblings; Jon, Ken and Michael. He was given a Roman Catholic upbringing. He went to Valley Stream Central High School in Valley Stream, New York and graduated in 1975. He also attended Nassau Community College for a small span. He worked as a firefighter for nearly four years. His first distinguishing role came in Parting Glances which was released in 1987.
In his illustrious career, he acted in a number of films. Some of the most prominent are Airheads, Billy Madison, The Wedding Singer, Big Daddy, Mr. Deeds, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, The Search for One-eye Jimmy, Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead and Grown Ups.
His directorial ventures include Trees Lounge, Animal Factory, Lonesome Jim and Interview.
For his work in Ghost World, he was rewarded with Chicago Film Critics, Association Award for Best Supporting Actor, Chlotrudis Award for Best Supporting Actor and Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actor.
