Plot
St Vladimir's Academy where dhampire, half-vampire and half-human train, there trains Rose Hathaway along with many others like her. There are two types of vampires in the world one are Moroi who live to protect and take blood only from donors and also possess powers to control one of the four elements - water, earth, fire or air other is Strigoi, the bad ones who drink to kill. Rose finds out that there are people who want to harm her friend the princess Lissa and use her for their own means. Now she has to run away from St Vladimir along with her best friend and protect her at any cost.
