Biography
Jay was born on 9th April, 1982 in the city of Ottawa, Canada. His Irish mother, Robyne is a self-employed writer but his father, Serge is a broker of ancient things. He also has a sister, Taylor. Right from his birth, he lives in the city of Montreal, with his family.
He became a comedian actor in 1995 and participated in some of the hit movies like, Knocked Up, lends his voice in How to Train Your Dragon and directed a movie project, Edgar and Jane.
His initial project is a television drama, Are You Afraid of the Dark, in which he played the role of Joe. Subsequently he also did The Worst Witch, the Stones, Numb3rs, Undeclared, My Hometown and several others.
In the year 1999, he did his first movie project, Running Home by playing the role of a kid and played the character of Jonathan in Who Gets the House? At the age of 26, Jay portrayed the roles of Kevin, Andy and Tal in the movies, Tropic Thunder, Real Time and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist.
His some of the recent flicks are, Goon, The Trotsky, She's Out of My League, Johnny Klutz, The Apocalypse, Good Neighbours and lots more.
