Born in 14 October 1989, Mia Wasikowska is a renowned Australian actress. She took birth in Canberra, Australia. She is daughter to Marzena Wasikowska and John Reid. She has two siblings. In the year 1998, she moved to Szczecin, Poland with her family. From the age of 9, she trained as a ballerina. She worked very hard for her performances but with the passage of time lost interest in it. She, later in her life, revealed that dancing helped her a lot during auditions.
In 2004, she landed her first role in All Saints. Some of her distinguishing works are The Kids Are All Right, Alice in Wonderland, That Evening Sun, The Wettest County, Restless, Suburban Mayhem and any other.
For her work in Alice in Wonderland, she won Hollywood Film Festival Award for Best Breakthrough Actress, Australian Film Institute International Award for Best Actress and Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Fight.
For her work in The Kids Are All Right, she was nominated for Detroit Film Critics Society Award for Best Breakthrough Performance and Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
