Born in 30 January 1974, Olivia Colman is an English actress. She was born in Norfolk, England. She spent the earlier years of her life in Freethorpe near Acle in Norfolk. For her education, she went to Norwich High School for Girls and Gresham's School, Holt. She also attended University of Cambridge and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
She came to limelight due to her comedy works. Some of the most prominent of them are Bruiser, People Like Us, That Mitchell and Webb Look, Look Around You, Black Books, The Office, The Time Of Your Life.
Her other prominent works on television are Beautiful People, Midsomer Murders, Consuming Passion, Green Wing and Look Around You.
Her big screen projects include Le Donk & Scor-zay-zee, I Could Never Be Your Woman, One Day, The Iron Lady and Dog Altogether.
For her work in Tyrannosaur, she won British Independent Film Award for Best Actress. In 2008, for her performance in Peep Show, she was nominated for British Comedy Award for Best Comedy Actress.
She has also appeared in radio comedies such as Concrete Cow, Think the Unthinkable, The House of Milton Jones, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.
She married Ed Sinclair. Together, they had two children.
