Plot
Story of Eric Lomax an Allied prisoner of World War II forced to work on the construction site of Thai/Burma railway, also being tortured by Kempetai because he build a radio just in order to bring some hope to his colleagues in there but found out by them. So many years later he met Patti and fall in love with her. Patti wants Eric to get rid of all his past bad memories. But soon Eric discovered that the one person who tortured Eric is still alive and left with question whether they should confront the officer or not?
