Tom was born on 3rd July, in 1962, in the city of Syracuse. His father Thomas was an electrician and died in the year 1984, where as his mother is a tutor named, Mary.
At the age of 17, he completed his studies from Ridge School. In the year 1990, he was honored with the award of Sexiest Man Alive. He got married to Mimi in the year 1987 and following to his divorce, he marries to Nicole in the year 1990 and got separate from her in 2001. Finally, she got wedded to her third wife, Katie in the year 2006. He has three children named, Isabella, Suri and Connor.
In the year 1981, he accomplished two silver screen projects, Taps and Endless Love and portrayed the characters of David and Billy. While in the year 1983 this number increased to four as he played the roles of Joel in Risky Business, Jack in Legend, Woody in Losin' It and Stefen in All the Right Moves.
