Jennifer Lawrence is a Hollywood actress, who is well known for movies like Winter’s Bone and X- Men: First class. She was born on August 15th, 1990 and was quite the athlete during her school days, having been an avid player of field hockey and softball.
She started her career as an actress in 2006, with a TV movie, Company Town, where she played the role of Caitlin. In the same year, she did another project, Monk, and her character’s name was Mascot. After a year, she was cast for one more TV series, Not Another High School Show, where she acted out the role of a frantic girl. In 2008, she made her debut on the big screen and worked in two movies - Garden Party and The Poker House. She was nominated for her character of Agnes in The Poker House and became the second youngest actress, who was ever nominated for an Academy award.
In 2010, she played role of Ree Dolly brilliantly in Winter’s Bone, which was the biggest hit of her acting career. She was nominated in several categories at different award functions and won most of them. Next year, she showed off her acting skills in three more movies: The Beaver, Like Crazy and X- Men: First class and the third one was another career maker movie, where she portrayed Raven. She is currently working on three films, which will be releasing in 2012.
