Keke Palmer took birth on August 26, 1993 in Harvey, Illinois and came to be known as Lauren Keyana "Keke" Palmer. Her parents shifted base to Los Angeles in the year 2006 so that Keke can concentrate on her career as a performer.
Initially, she chose music as her field and started participating in music centric shows. So Uncool was the title of her debut album but it didn’t do very well commercially. In the year 2011, she came out with the news that she would kicking off a US tour for her new music works. The tour would be started on 2012.
She also associated herself with television through True Jackson, VP. Other shows to her credit are Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Second Time Around, Cold Case, ER, The Cleveland Show, Winx Club, Degrassi, Brainsurge, Tyler Perry's House of Payne and many others.
She also became active in the film of big screen and made appearances in many films. Barbershop 2: Back in Business, Madea's Family Reunion, Ice Age: Continental Drift, The Longshots, Akeelah and the Bee and many more.
In the year, Keke associated herself with fashion by joining hands with Wal-mart for a fashion line.
