Born in 2 August 1976, Sam Worthington is also known by the name Samuel Henry J. "Sam" Worthington. He took birth in Godalming, Surrey, England, UK and made a career as an English born, Australian actor. At a very young age, he moved to Perth, Western Australia with his family. He spent his initial years in Warnbro, a suburb of Rockingham. His parents are Jeanne J. and Ronald W. Worthington.
For his education, he went to John Curtin College of the Arts. At the age of 19, he earned money by working as a bricklayer. At the same time, he applied for National Institute of Dramatic Art and was accepted. He even got a scholarship for his education.
In 2000, he came out with his first film as an actor. It was named Bootmen. After getting acclaim for his performance by Australian Film Institute, his career boomed. He acted in a number of films.
