Plot
Cesas Chavez was a civil-rights activist and labor organizer and the movie enlightens his attempt to organize 50,000 farm workers in California there were many of them who were from Mexico in order to work and earn for living in United States but if they stop working they will not be allowed to live in united states. They were living in hell as they have to suffer for what they are, racism and brutality is done upon them by the employers. So the one who stands for these Mexicans was Cesar who formed a union with all named as United Farm Workers.
